Rediscover the Bible That Built the West
Learn Latin and Greek through Scripture -- around an open table, with zero grammar drills.
How We Learn: Scripture, Language, Heritage
We take sacred languages out of the ivory tower and bring them directly into the hands of everyday believers. No dry memorization or abstract grammar charts. Just clear, step-by-step discovery around an open table.
Foundational Latin Through Scripture
Read authentic passages from the Latin Vulgate on Day 1. Acquire vocabulary and grammar naturally through familiar biblical stories, phrases, and prayers.
The Greek & Roman Foundations
Discover how the Latin text carried the apostolic Greek into Western civilization. Trace key concepts like grace, covenant, and justice back to their classical roots.
The Open-Table Experience
Gather in person over good coffee to decode the text together in fellowship. Built specifically for adults with zero previous language experience.
Rooted in scholarship, created for believers
Western Tradition Bible Academy was founded by Carlo Bottone Ph.D., a former university professor of Latin, Greek, and classical studies. After years in traditional higher education, Dr. Bottone established the academy to dismantle the barriers of tedious grammar drills and abstract exercises. Our mission is simple: bring the original languages of Scripture directly into the hands of everyday believers around an open table, connecting personal faith to the living roots of the Western tradition.
A natural path to biblical literacy
You don't need years of academic study or fluency in Hebrew to unlock the roots of your Bible. By reading authentic Latin passages from Day 1, we uncover key concepts, trace their Greek roots, and connect language learning directly to the living history of the Western Tradition.
"Reading the Vulgate on day one was thrilling. As a classical homeschool parent, this academy gave me the exact tools and confidence I needed to guide my students."

"The open-table format took all the pressure away. Instead of memorizing conjugation charts alone, we explore historical contexts together as brothers and sisters in Christ."
David Miller

"The insights into Roman civic order and classical Greek thought completely renewed how I read sacred scripture. Academic quality made genuinely accessible."
